As the Middle East’s trade links have increased, so has the demand for more efficient transportation networks involving tunnels.

Sa’ad Al Muhanadi, CEO of Qatar Rail, has given an overview of the 14-year plan for the construction of Qatar Metro’s complex tunnel design and implementation plans as part of the $38 billion integrated rail project: 125km in length, four lines and 102 stations.
