| Watch the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington On August 28, 1963 a crowd of thousands gathered for the March on Washington, united in the goal of introducing a new era of progress that would roll back centuries of oppression and poverty. Today, exactly 50 years later, three Presidents and a range of civil rights leaders will mark the moment with an event from the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. This morning, starting at 11:30 a.m. ET and continuing into the afternoon, you'll be able to watch the Let Freedom Ring Commemoration and Call to Action event -- including President Carter, President Clinton, members of Martin Luther King, Jr's family, and other civil right leaders. And at 2:45 p.m. ET, President Obama will deliver remarks as well. Stay Connected
